Hollywood Forever

This 111 year old cemetery is the final resting place for Hollywood legends such as, Mel Blanc, Rudolph Valentino and Janet Gaynor. Hosted by Cinespia, screenings of previously released movies (this past week’s showing was Airplane!) are held every other week during the summer and projected on the side of a mausoleum on the grounds. Bring cash to get in and parking on the grounds is an extra $5, but considering you can bring all the food and drinks (even alcohol is permitted) you want, it is worth it. Dogs, barbecues and tall chairs are prohibited. Bring pillows and blankets to lounge upon and settle in (don’t worry, the seating area is grave free, you won’t be disturbing anyone) for a fantastic evening. – Connie Sommerville
